The Waingongoro Catchment group held a freshwater testing day hosted by Alastair Cole. One of the benchmark activities carried out by this group is to create a baseline of the stream quality along 15 sites in the Waingongoro Catchment area. This will be done in conjunction with the Massey University lead project to establish edge of field technologies that will reduce the impact of farm managed activities on the freshwater system.
